  • MINT has opened a warming center at 218 Redwood Highway (Parker’s Place) providing 75 beds from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. for unhoused residents from December 27 to 29 as temperatures drop.   • Kirkpatrick, a local entrepreneur, had his nonprofit plan to clean neighborhoods approved by the county until funding was withdrawn — the day after he bought the approved dump truck — leaving him $68,000 in debt and halting his job creation effort.  The Grants Pass Tribune

  • Local fast food prices in Grants Pass have risen by nearly 25 percent four years since COVID, and residents are rethinking frequent meals as business owners manage higher wages, food and utility costs, which are now clearly visible on menus and receipts.  The Grants Pass Tribune
