Good morning, Grants Pass.

Grants Pass will host a live music event on November 22 at The Sound Lounge—doors open at 8 p.m. with music beginning at 9 p.m. Three bands, including Rio Scale, Stoning Giants, and local group After the Rain, will perform; admission is $10 and the show is for audiences 21 and older.

The City of Grants Pass is seeking residents to join its Urban Tree Advisory Committee to help guide local tree management and urban planning.

Applications must be received by 5 p.m. on November 28 at the City Administration Office at 101 N.W. A Street or online — submissions will be reviewed on December 1 with final appointments expected on January 7.

Residents with burn permits issued before November 2 now have until November 9 to finish their yard-debris burning due to delays in approved burn days — the city stresses that permit holders must check the ventilation index each day before burning.

No additional permits will be issued during this extension.
