- ➤ Rogue River Greenway Foundation is asking residents to help design a trail system that will connect local communities—green spaces and events are planned to bring neighbors together. - ➤ A new independent film, The (Luh-mer-ee-in) Lemurian Candidate, opens tonight at Coming Attractions SouthGate Cinema in Grants Pass and blends a backpacking trip with a quest for hidden aliens on Mount Shasta. The film stars Jack Trout and follows two friends who take their struggling buddy on an unexpected healing journey. KOBI-TV
- ➤ Ariel Kostrna, known for more than 20 productions, makes her directorial debut with 'Let's Make a Scene!' — a local revue that will show six new works on November 8, 9, and 16. The production gives local audiences a first look at her next musical and a fresh take on Southern Oregon theater. The Grants Pass Tribune

- ➤ Mercy Flights announced its recognition as a Pediatrics Ready EMS agency by the Oregon Emergency Medical Services for Children—EMSC Program. The designation shows that the group will keep working hard to provide quality care in pediatric emergencies. Rogue River Press
