- ➤ Katrina Ann Knight, a 59-year-old Grants Pass woman, died Tuesday afternoon when her Ford Ranger left the road and struck a utility pole on Highway 99 near Rogue River at about 2:50 p.m.—State police are investigating the cause. Medford Alert

- ➤ Between September and January, Grants Pass police investigated a series of commercial burglaries where items valued between $100 and $1K were taken—now a man is indicted for the crimes. Rogue River Press

- ➤ The People’s Access to Housing coalition meets Tuesday, August 26 at Grants Pass City Council Chambers from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.—Skylar Fate of AllCare Health will present the new Hope Home program that offers housing, treatment and support for pregnant women facing substance abuse while community partners share updates and gather food donations for the Josephine County Food Bank. - ➤ Protesters interrupted a town hall for U.S. Senator Ron Wyden in Josephine County on Monday by reading statements demanding he stop approving weapon sales to Israel—forcing his team to end the event and leaving several hundred attendees unable to ask questions. KOBI-TV

- ➤ The City of Grants Pass is inviting community members to apply for an open seat on its Parks Advisory Committee, which helps shape local park plans with a term ending September 6.
