- ➤ Josephine Community Library is hosting a weeklong astronomy series titled Among the Stars in partnership with local astronomer Joe Stodola from the Grants Pass Astronomers Club to offer hands-on learning at four county branches. The program will begin Tuesday, August 5 (Williams branch at 158 Tetherow Road from 10 to 11 a.m.), then move to the Grants Pass branch on August 6 (200 NW C Street from 4 to 5 p.m.), continue at the Illinois Valley branch on August 7 (209 W Palmer Street from 12 to 1 p.m.), and finish at the Wolf Creek branch on August 8 (102 Ruth Avenue from 12 to 1 p.m.).
