- ➤ A crash on US-199 near milepost 20.79 just south of Selma closed one lane today, and emergency crews are working on the scene as officials warn that a full closure may occur pending cleanup. Medford Alert

- ➤ On July 23, the Josephine Marijuana Enforcement Team along with federal + local agencies broke up an illegal grow operation on Holland Loop Road in Cave Junction, seizing nearly 5,000 marijuana plants, four firearms, and arresting 34-year-old Joseph Aaron Barany. KDRV

- ➤ The 4th annual Southern Oregon Pacific Islanders Summer Celebration takes place Sunday, August 3 at Oakdale Middle School starting at 3:00 p.m. and features live music, cultural performances, island food, vendor booths and games — all under the theme 'Embrace and Hold On to Your Culture' to engage the Pacific Islander community while educating local residents.
