- ➤ A correction to a recent report clarified that Joseph Rice repaid $50,000 in a loan for Project CARRIAGE and that a $25,000 reimbursement check was issued to Josephine County between 2017 and 2019—while Business Oregon's $25,000 investment was written off. - ➤ ODF has raised the fire danger level to high in Jackson and Josephine counties and increased the Industrial Fire Precaution Level to Level 2 as wildfire season intensifies—helicopters have been deployed and more aircraft are expected soon while new rules limit the use of power equipment to help prevent fires.
