- ➤ Blossom Barn Cidery won gold for low-tannin perry and bronze for high-tannin perry at the Northwest Cider Cup in Portland. Co-founders Jeremy Hall and Erin Chaparro said the cidery used Oregon’s state fruit to craft its Rogue Valley Barrel-aged Perry and Estate Perry plus compete against 231 entries. KOBI-TV

- ➤ Starting July 1, Oregon's annual minimum wage adjustment will raise rates with workers in Portland earning $16.30 per hour, nonurban counties set at $13.70, and most areas at $14.70 per hour. - ➤ Rogue Valley Transportation District is planning to cut 10 of its 15 bus routes and reduce its workforce by up to 82 employees because federal funds have frozen, leaving riders with fewer options for commuting, errands, and access to healthcare. - ➤ The Oregon Legislature approved Senate Bill 243 that bans rapid-fire modification devices and allows local governments—if they choose—to restrict concealed carry inside public buildings.
