- ➤ The Josephine Marijuana Enforcement Team and federal agents raided a home on Redwood Highway in Cave Junction, taking over 7,000 marijuana plants and 300 pounds of processed marijuana along with several code violations that may lead to property forfeiture while the suspects remain at large facing charges for unlawful manufacturing, possession, and misusing water. - ➤ State lawmakers advanced the FAIR Energy Act—now in the Senate—that would require utilities to analyze the economic impact of rate increases and ban winter power shutoffs to protect consumers from rising utility bills.
