ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Early Sunday morning, fire crews from Rural Metro Fire, Grants Pass Fire, and the Oregon Department of Forestry responded to a fire in a two‐story cinder block barn near Hartley Lane and Dewoody Lane in Sand Creek and quickly contained the blaze — saving much of the first-floor interior — with no injuries reported as the state fire marshal office begins investigating the cause. - ➤ Josephine County’s multi-agency marijuana task force shut down a large illegal cannabis grow on June 18 outside Cave Junction, seizing over 7,000 mature plants and roughly 300 pounds of processed flower—while federal and local agencies inspected the site for safety issues like unmetered water and faulty electrical panels.
