- ➤ County commissioners ended a lease that charged one dollar a year for the Grants Pass library in January 2025 because upkeep costs grew unsustainable, leaving residents worried about losing free internet and tutoring services. The library district is buying downtown property and planning a new facility—library programs may be reduced until construction is complete. The Grants Pass Tribune

- ➤ The Josephine County Sheriff's Office announced that 41-year-old Martha Christine Wade + last contacted in October 2024 and seen by Grants Pass Police in July + has been found safe. KDRV
- ➤ Three men were arrested on May 10 when police found a man bleeding from his head and mouth at the 5th St resting site in Grants Pass after he was hit with a baton, punched, and pepper sprayed, and the suspects—34 year old Kaleb Farmer facing charges of second-degree assault, tampering with evidence, and unlawful use of a weapon; 36 year old Jonathan Bull charged with tampering with evidence and possession of meth; and 37 year old Aaron Storm charged with second-degree assault and unlawful use of mace—were taken to Josephine County Jail.
