- ➤ Boatnik returns this Memorial Day weekend to Grants Pass with jet boats on the Rogue River, a downtown parade, and a military flyover marking the start of festivities – pre-sale tickets for concerts, carnival wristbands, and rides are now available to help families save money. - ➤ Residents, businesses, and civic groups can order engraved bricks by 5 p.m. on June 1 to mark their place in the Owl Plaza project near 5th and H streets. ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Grants Pass announced a wildfire prevention effort funded by a $296,000 State Fire Marshal grant to help homeowners create defensible space in high-risk areas. Fire Rescue teams will begin notifying residents in the coming weeks and scheduling free risk assessments. The Grants Pass Tribune
