- ➤ Lithia & Driveway and Lithia4Kids hosted an event Wednesday morning that donated over $30,000 to eight nonprofits serving Southern Oregon youth. Attendees also met a PFAFF race car team that stopped in Medford after their race this past weekend. KDRV
- ➤ Hearts With A Mission has expanded its Hearts for Seniors program into Josephine, Lincoln, Coos, Douglas, Jackson and Klamath counties to provide companionship and essential help for seniors living alone. Volunteers complete a background check and short training — they assist with tasks such as housekeeping, yard work and transportation to support home safety and independence. KOBI-TV

- ➤ Pacific Power hosted a wildfire safety forum Tuesday night in Medford where dozens of Southern Oregonians questioned power cuts, fire safety and possible rate hikes — company officials said they are clearing debris, trimming trees and testing smart grid tools with upgrades planned in Talent and Grants Pass. - ➤ A Grants Pass man, 38-year-old Christopher Smith, faced federal charges for fentanyl trafficking and illegal firearm possession after a state search on May 9 led to the seizure of about 400 grams of fentanyl—2 digital scales, 2 3D printers, ghost guns and 74 other firearms—with his first federal court appearance taking place on May 14.
