CULTURE NEWS

  • The acclaimed folk-pop duo Phoenix will perform a one-night show at the Grants Pass Museum of Art this spring as part of their 2025 tour. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.—tickets are available through the museum website for the performance scheduled from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.  The Grants Pass Tribune

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • The city of Grants Pass is moving to meet a court order by opening its third resting site today at the corner of NW 5 and A streets — the site features accessible pavement and shade for easier use by those with mobility challenges. City officials say more sites will open to serve the unhoused — although concerns remain about pavement temperatures during the summer heat.  KOBI-TV
  • Josephine County Commissioners and the Josephine Community Library District took steps to negotiate a new lease for the Grants Pass library branch. The district sent a formal letter Monday asking for a five-year extension at $1 per year—commissioners then authorized Commissioner Chris Barnett to lead direct negotiations at Tuesday’s meeting.  KOBI-TV
