- ➤ Grants Pass police arrested 38 year old Derek Daniels about 4:34 p.m. on Monday after he allegedly struck a woman and two parked vehicles in the Albertsons parking lot on Allen Creek Road, leaving her seriously injured and taken to Three Rivers Medical Center—police say the investigation is ongoing. - ➤ Businesses across the nation are adding extra fees — such as credit card and fuel surcharges — to offset rising costs, and consumers in Grants Pass are noticing these charges on their bills. - ➤ The City of Grants Pass announced its street sweeping schedule for the week of April 27; Zone 11 was swept on April 28 from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Zones 1 and 6 will be swept on May 1—residents must remove vehicles, trash cans, and other obstacles from the streets before sweeping hours.
