- ➤ PATH is a local grassroots group that works with nonprofits, law enforcement, religious groups—and local government to help people in Josephine County move from homelessness to self-sufficiency. - ➤ Soup for the Soul will return to the Josephine County Fairgrounds on April 19th from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., offering soups from local chefs and a handcrafted ceramic bowl with a $40 ticket—proceeds will support the ROC Food Pantry serving over 7,000 people monthly. The Grants Pass Tribune

- ➤ The Department of Government Efficiency reported saving over $100 billion in its first two months and state leaders have begun using some of these funds to improve local infrastructure, education, and public services in Southern Oregon—steps that aim to boost the local economy. - ➤ Grants Pass city officials and Disability Rights Oregon are in a legal fight over homelessness rules—DRO says the two designated camping sites hurt unhoused residents while city leaders argue the rules keep public spaces safe.
