- ➤ Flooding in Josephine County on Monday, March 17th, 2025 forced emergency crews to rescue stranded residents and secure Fort Vannoy Elementary School after a levee near Upper River Road at Hunt Lane broke. Multiple teams from local agencies performed welfare checks and coordinated evacuations in areas including Merlin and neighborhoods along Abegg Road, Ward Road—Barker Drive as floodwaters continued to rise.
