- ➤ Michael (Mike) Beagle, the Alumni Relations Director at Southern Oregon University, died on Sunday from a medical event while hiking near the Summit of Wagner Butte Trail outside Talent; search and rescue teams recovered him on Monday after 10 hours in snow and strong winds. KOBI-TV
- ➤ Coalicion Fortaleza is hosting fourth amendment rights trainings for businesses in the Rogue Valley amid rising immigration enforcement, teaching calm responses and explaining who to call during an incident. - ➤ Veterans in Southern Oregon who use VA financial help may soon regain the right to buy firearms after the VA stopped reporting fiduciary status to the FBI + officials work to update past records. - ➤ Lawmakers approved Senate Bill 1512 that updates Prosperity 10,000 by directing local workforce boards to align job training with employer needs. The bill moves to the House for further review. The Grants Pass Tribune
